Helpful Rules and Methods for Using Power Point

1. Keep it simple, concise
2. 4-5 points per page maximum
3.  Use relevant images to evoke emotion
4.  Use at least a 32 pt. font so that the back row can see
5.  If you use video, check to make sure it is audible
6.  Don't overuse Power Point
7.  Limit to under 10 slides
8.  Make sure font color contrasts from background color
9.  If there is a time limit, practice with timer
10.  When using videos, embed into Power Point
